Module 4: Supporting the Work

In this module we will discuss ways you can find support, create partnerships, or establish collaborations with others. We will touch on aspects of finding financial support as well. The module will begin with general overview of external collaborations, partnerships and support and why these can be useful and important components in a language documentation project. Then we’ll look more closely at academic collaborations, commercial partnerships, and financial support – primarily in terms of grantsmanship. By the end of this workshop, we hope you’ll be ready to find and secure the external support that’s appropriate to your project!
